A small workshop dedicated to sacred spaces.

I’m Nina Schloss, founder of Place to Keep. I started Place to Keep to give faith communities a dignified, lasting alternative to commercial catalog fundraisers.

Churches aren't just buildings—they are where baptisms, weddings, quiet prayers, and Christmas Eves happen. We take on a carefully limited group of churches each Christmas so every drawing gets personal craftsmanship and every box arrives on time.

What church committees and vestries usually ask.

What does this cost the church upfront?

Zero. There is no setup fee, no artwork charge, no deposit, and no minimum order. The church receives $11 for every ornament ordered.

What about members who don't order online?

We provide a ready-to-print paper order form for members who prefer to pay by check or cash at the church office. Your office simply sends us one combined tally.

How do ornaments get to parishioners?

We deliver one master box to the church, with each ornament packaged and labeled with the member's name for easy pickup after services. Members can also choose home delivery for a flat $6.95.

Does our parish treasurer have extra bookkeeping?

No. Place to Keep collects card payments and handles all state sales tax. When orders close, we send one lump-sum check made out to the church with an itemized spreadsheet of every order.

What if only a small number of members order?

That is completely fine. There are no minimum order thresholds. If 18 families order, we make 18 ornaments and write your church a check for $216.

Can we turn this into an annual tradition?

Yes! Many churches add the year (e.g. 2026), or feature a secondary building such as the chapel, parish hall, or stained glass window in future years to build a beloved collector series.
